  As a student at FSU, Paul got the itch for surfing in Nicaragua in 1999. After arriving his love of baseball took over and he found himself playing for a local team for 4 years. It wasn't long before he met his wife Katy and they married and built a house there. Soon afterward they had their first child Katia. He is currently the owner of the Puerto Sandino Surf Resort in Northern Nicaragua. They are fortunate to have homes in the Jacksonville area and in Nicaragua.
